Tine is Norway’s largest dairy group with around 10,500 farmers and a product portfolio with over 500 unique products. Now Tine is investing in new equipment for palletizing for their plant in Brumunddal and they have chosen InterSystem as supplier.
Jan Haugen is sales manager for InterSystem in Norway,
“We are very pleased that we have gained the trust to deliver this new system. Tine is an important customer for us, and we look forward to doing a good project with them. In 2021, InterSystem will deliver several interesting projects to the Norwegian market.”
The project to Brumunddal concerns a delivery of two palletizers of the type ComPact 128LF. The machines replace an existing robot that currently handles two production lines. The existing equipment is worn out and Tine has chosen to change the concept to layer palletizer.
The new palletizers will be installed in Brumunddal during an extremely tight schedule in week 8.
InterSystem AB develops, produces and delivers automated systems within palletizing and material handling. The company was founded in 1989, has about 50 employees and a turnover of about SEK 160 million. The customers are mainly within the food industry where about 60% is delivered for export.
