“Grådö Mejeri”, the small dairy outside Swedish town Hedemora, have invested in two new palletizers from InterSystem. The two new machines replace two old palletizers from InterSystem that have in operation in 2 shifts, five days a week since 1995 and 1996. In total, the dairy have nine active palletizers in operation.
The new machines will handle trays with crème fraiche where each palletizer will handle about 30 trays every min. The equipment will be installed in the end of November and the delivery also includes a stretch wrapper for ready pallets.
The dairy in Grådö started in 1953 and is one of the oldest still active dairy in Sweden. The milk are mainly coming from about 60 local famers and their focus is on traditional milk products like fresh milk, cream, yoghurt etc.
InterSystem develops, produce, and supply automated systems within palletizing and conveyors. The company was founded in 1989, has about 70 employees and a turnover around 200 MSEK. The customers are mainly within the food industry and about 60% are exported outside Sweden.
